AAA Joins Town of Tonawanda National Night Out

The Town of Tonawanda is hosting National Night Out – America’s Night Out Against Crime this evening. National Night Out was founded 35 years ago to foster positive relationships between the community, residents and the police. The goal is to make neighborhoods safer, better places to live. 


As a safety advocate, AAA Western and Central New York is proud to take part in this community event, with a booth as well as a visit from Otto the Auto, an interactive robot that teaches children about pedestrian and bicycle safety, among other topics.
The event is free and family friendly.

WHEN:            Tuesday, August 7, 2018    
                        6 p.m. – 8 p.m., Rain or Shine!

WHERE:        Lincoln Park Arena
                      Decatur Road (off Parker)
                      Tonawanda, NY 14223

WHAT:    National Night Out is organized by the Town of Tonawanda Police Department in conjunction with the Crime Resistance Executive Board and Neighborhood Watch Groups. The focus is on “Crime Resistance Education.” The evening features live demonstrations, activities, games, food and music. AAA will take part with an insurance representative available, as well as Otto the Auto, an educational robot.
