New Grocery Discounts for AAA Members

Earlier this spring AAA Western and Central New York introduced a program that allows members to save money on brand-name groceries and household items purchased at TOPS Friendly Markets and Price Chopper Supermarkets.
The programs work when a AAA member connects his or her valid membership number with the grocery store's loyalty card number. Once the accounts are linked, the member shops at the store and uses the grocery loyalty card at checkout like usual. Discounts are then automatically applied to the featured products.
"The best part is that there is no need to load or print paper coupons," said program manager Jennifer Argentieri. "Once you enroll your card, all you have to do is provide your loyalty card at checkout, like you're already doing."
Popular brands such as Philadelphia, Jimmy Dean, Kraft and Olay offer new discounts regularly, with current offers posted at AAA.com/Grocery. Enrolled members receive emails with the most current discounts available.
AAA Grocery Discounts is the third program in a years-long endeavor to add more day-to-day savings opportunities to the AAA discounts options. In 2011, AAA Western and Central New York began offering gasoline discounts to local members; Fastrac Markets was added to the program in 2015.

Bought groceries at Tops on July 31. Eligible items were not discounted at checkout even though my bonus card is linked and I have used it to obtain AAA discounts in the past. Can someone explain how to get this issue resolved?

Grocery discount sign up
On my Android telephone I linked my Wegmans card with my AAA membership. Through the AAA app. I went out of that app and back into it to connect Tops Market link but a sign came up and said 401 sorry you are not authorized for selected action. I called the number on my AAA card to find out what this was about and she told me to email you. When I connected the link with Wegmans, I gave them my bank account checking account number which I hope I did not compromise myself.

In the meantime, if you’d still like to link your Tops loyalty card to your AAA membership account, try adding it directly through a web browser on your phone or a computer. You can visit AAA.com/grocery and choose the “Manage Grocery Account” option.
Once you login, click the arrow next to your name in the upper-right hand corner and choose “My Cards.”
Also, please be assured that your financial data is secure. Soon, you will see two small deposits in your bank account. The deposits will be labelled as CoinFlip Solutions in your bank account and we’ll need you to verify the deposit amounts so we know we’re linking to the right account.
To verify those amounts, just click on “My Profile” under that arrow next to your name. Scroll down to “Reimbursement Method.” When you know how much the deposits are, click on “VERIFY ACCOUNT.” Verify the amounts you see in your bank account and click “COMPLETE.”
