AAA Western and Central New York Announces New Board Member

AAA Western and Central New York is pleased to welcome Dottie Gallagher-Cohen to its Board of Directors. AAA Western and Central New York is thrilled to have her join its leadership team.
Dottie Gallagher-Cohen is President and CEO of the Buffalo Niagara Partnership. In her post, she leads all aspects of the Partnership’s mission to increase private investment and build jobs in the Buffalo Niagara region.
“I’m excited to put my skills to work as a part of AAA’s Board of Directors,” Gallagher-Cohen said. “I look forward to working with such a strong member services organization with a rich history in the community.”
Recently, under Dottie’s leadership, the Partnership was named the backbone organization for Employ Buffalo Niagara, an employer lead workforce development effort focusing on the manufacturing, tourism and healthcare sectors.
“AAA is thrilled to have Ms. Gallagher-Cohen join the leadership team. She brings expertise in tourism, community involvement and workforce development,” said Tony Spada, AAA Western and Central New York President and CEO. “AAA has a vested interest in the community it serves and we are certain that Dottie’s background and knowledge will be extremely valuable.”
Prior to joining the Partnership, Dottie was president and CEO of Visit Buffalo Niagara (VBN). Dottie also sits on the boards of the Erie County Industrial Development Agency, the Buffalo Urban Development Corporation, the Community Foundation, and Visit Buffalo Niagara. Dottie has been honored for her community leadership and business development.
Gallagher-Cohen will serve a two year term on the AAA Western and Central New York Board of Directors replacing Steve Finch who is now employed by AAA as Senior Vice President of Automotive Services.
