AAA Announces WNY Fleet Operations Manager

Thomas Thompson III has been named Manager of WNY Fleet Operations for AAA Western and Central New York.
Thompson retired from General Motors in Tonawanda after a successful 40 year career, holding countless titles. Most recently, he was in charge of organizational development and was recognized for creating “The 40-Hour Leadership Academy Program” at GM.
As manager of WNY Fleet Operations, Thompson will oversee AAA WCNY’s emergency roadside assistance fleet and contractors, ensuring quality service to all members in the Buffalo area. His experience and passion will be a valuable addition to AAA WCNY.
“I feel so very proud and privileged to be accepted as a new member of the elite AAA team,” said Thompson.
Thompson received two bachelor’s degrees from Buffalo State College: industrial technology and criminal justice.
A native of South Buffalo, Tom now lives in Grand Island with his wife and enjoys the company of his two children and grandchildren. His hobbies include health and exercise, travel, pen and ink art, along with cars and trucks.
