Disney has done it again! They are ready to wow guests with another state-of-the-art Orlando hotel that is simply breathtaking! 

As a trusted Disney travel partner, AAA Western and Central New York was given a sneak peek at Gran Destino Tower at Disney’s Coronado Springs, which opened to the public on July 9 at Walt Disney World Resort. Our Disney Destinations Sales Manager Shelley Eastmer had the chance to tour the hotel before it even opened. And from the first glimpse, it seems to have something for everyone.

Visitors will initially be in awe over the beautiful waterfront setting complete with a shimmering fountain as they arrive at the resort. Once they step inside, they’ll be stunned with the two-story lobby area featuring the sleek Barcelona Lounge downstairs and guest check-in on the second level. Disney is prepared to give guests a positive experience so an overflow check-in area was added to avoid long lines. And the lobby area is designed with guests in mind – seating is complete with charging ports so everyone can stay connected.

Kids will find their own area in the lobby to kick back with classic Disney animations playing on TV monitors. They can also spot Mickey in the table designs and more as they wait for mom and dad.

The 16-floor Gran Destino Tower adds 545 rooms to Coronado Springs and these pictures clearly can’t cover it all so you’ll need to check it out for yourself!
